Easy salad which I made today .
Most us don't know what Matki( madhaki) this is Whole moth...They look similar to green moong but brownish in color. Called as moth in hindi
1 cup Moong sprouts
1 cup madhaki sprouts
1/2 cup pineapple pieces
1/2 cup promogranete seeds
1/2 totapuri mango cut into pieces
1 big tomato(cut into pieces
1/2 spoon chinese scezwan sauce
half piece lemon
Coriander leave
salt for taste
Mix all above ingredients in a bowl and squeze lemon just before serving.

Talpeet - A easy to do breakfast
This little know breakfast is good break from usual breakfast receipes
2 cups Rava ( can try using Ragi powder, rice powder, wheat floor or mix of all)
Green chillies (2 or 3 )
coriander leaves
curry leaves
haldi
half cup cucumber grated ( can use carrot also)
salt
pinch of jaggery and turmeric
--- Mix all above ingredients into a bowl with little water depending on cucumber extract(if cucumber leaves lot of water) do not use extra water
Leave this Mix for 5 mins
Heat shallow tava grease with oil or ghee.
Take a lump of this above mix and spread it on tava like dosa, depending on your comfort :) can do it with hand generally or use serving spoon. spread oil across
Keep it covered with lid for 3 mins and put it reverse and fry it cripse.
Serve with hot red chutney or sauce

Egg Plant(bringal) Cutlet
THIS IS SHALLOW FRY DISH, VERY POPULAR AMONG konkanies across
Ingredients:
Big size bringal cut into round pieces of half inch thickness
Mix 4 spoon normal Rava(suji) 2 spoon chilli powder, 1/4 spn turmeric, 1/2 amchoor, 1/2 (donot add water at any cost )
coriander powder, salt to taste
On a preheat Tava , grease with oil , roll bringal pieces onto the Rava masala made and lay it on the Tava, with little oil on all sides (at a time on normal tava , 3 pieces can be layed) cover with lid for fast fry. Open the lid after 2-4mins and turn the pieces upside down. on low heat let it fry for 2 mins.
Take it out and serve as side dish.

This is a very popular Non Veg dish among konkanis and native of karnataka, goa, Karwar, Gokarn ,where konkanies reside and these ingredients available easily.
This can be prepared as veg dish also
Ingredients:
- 2 cups Valli Bhajji (Basala Soupu)Basella alba (this is easily available as indian/chinese spinach) cut into fine pieces, do not throw away stems as these are very juicy and tasty.
- 1 cup bringal pieces, i cup yam pieces
- 1/2 cup onion
- 1/2 cup fresh/frozen coconut
- 5 red chillies
- 1 tea spn coriander
- A pinch turmeric ,
- Oil1/4 tea spn,
- tamarind extract,
- Dry prawns,
Grind Cocunut,chillies,coriander small piece of onion and turmeric pwd into paste. Boil basal soupu and other vegetables mentioned with little water and salt. add the grinded paste, tamarind, salt, dry prawns into it and allow it to boil. Season with onions and serve hot.

Ambaya che ambat
This is veg speciality of konkanies served with hot rice, A gravy served with hot rice.
Ingredients :
Raw Amboo (mango) Totapuri or normal -1 medium
Half medium size cocounut grated
6 bedagi chillies or (2 spoon chillli powder)
1 spoon coriander powder
pinch of Haldi
salt
small onion and kadi patta
Cut mangoes into small cubes, can retain the skin
Grind cocunut, chillies ,coriander pwder, haldi into fine paste with water
In a deep vessel, pour this masala and mangoes and bring it to boil
Add salt and put tadka with onions and kadi pata
